Insurance & Responsibility

(Summary – Non-Binding)
All rentals must be covered by insurance

Self-Insured Rentals:
You must provide proof of valid automobile insurance to cover liability and damage to other vehicles.

We require the purchase of a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) for a nominal cost of $10.50/day that provides up to $50,000 in coverage for the rented vehicle which guarantees no out of pocket costs for you, the renter, in the event of an accident.

At this time, self-insured rentals are required to be booked 24 hours in advance and are unable to be "extended" due to insurance regulations.

If a rental extension is requested, the current rental must be closed out and a new rental agreement must be completed.

Rentals Covered by Our Insurance:

Full Collision and Liability Coverage is available from $46.72/day with a $1,000 deductible.

The "Auto Essential" package provides coverage to our vehicle as well as other vehicles and drivers involved in an accident.

Should you be involved in an accident, you, the renter, will be responsible for covering the cost of damages up to the deductible (the first $1,000 of damage).

In certain situations where the terms of the rental agreement were violated, you may be held fully responsible for the cost of any damages not covered by insurance.

Full terms are defined in the rental agreement.
