How much does it cost to rent a car?
Prices start at $100/day with weekly rates as low as $80/day. Insurance and tax is not included in these prices and may significantly impact the final cost of your rental.
What age do you have to be to rent a car?
Minimum rental age is 21 with your own insurance. If using our insurance coverage, drivers must be at least 25 with a valid drivers license.

Do I have to have insurance to rent a car?
You do not need your own insurance to rent, but the vehicle must be covered by some type of insurance. You may use your own policy with a Collision Damage Waiver or choose one of our insurance coverage plans.

What is the "Auto Essential" charge on my quote?
Auto Essential is the Default insurance package placed on every rental. You may change this during the booking process according to your coverage needs. (See Next FAQ)

What is the difference between "Roamly Rental Shield", "Auto Basic", "Auto Essential"?
Roamly Rental Shield (RRS)
Roamly Rental Shield is a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) that covers physical damage to our vehicle only in the event of an accident.

You (or your personal insurance) remain fully responsible for any damages or injuries involving other vehicles, property, or people. Only select this option if you have valid personal auto insurance and simply want protection from paying out-of-pocket for damage to our vehicle.

Auto Basic & Auto Essential (Full Coverage Plans)

Auto Basic: $2,500 deductible

For just a small increase in daily cost, Auto Essential significantly lowers your financial exposure in the event of an accident.
How much is the Security Deposit?
Our standard security deposit is $150 and is typically returned within 24 hours after the vehicle is checked in. Established renters may qualify for reduced or waived deposits.

Do I need to provide proof of residency?
No. We do not require utility bills in your name to prove residency. We only require a valid license and proof of applicable insurance if you are using your own.
Are there fees not included in the daily rate?
There are additional factors that affect final price such as insurance, and tax. The security deposit may be charged at the end of the rental for Smoking, Excess Mileage, Late Returns, Refueling, or Damage to the vehicle.

Why are vehicles often unavailable on the weekend?
Weekend rentals are very popular and often reserved several days in advance. We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least one week in advance, especially for weekend rentals. Vehicles are often reserved by mid-week for the upcoming weekend. It is best to book early in the week if you need a same-day rental.

Where do I pick up the vehicle?
Vehicles are available for self-service pickup at 3601 Louisiana Ave. in Lake Charles. Vehicle may be picked up anytime after receiving access codes. Vehicles that have requested delivery will pickup from the address requested. Vehicles will be delivered at least 1 hour in advance of your rental start time.

Why does no one answer when I call?
To keep prices as low as possible, we operate with very little overhead. This means we have no physical office and no booking staff. Most bookings can be completed online in as little as 5 minutes with no assistance. Support is available by text from 9am-9pm for questions during the booking process. Please provide us time to respond as we are often preparing vehicles for rental or helping other customers with their bookings.
