Insurance & Responsibility

(Summary – Non-Binding)
All rentals must be covered by insurance

Self-Insured Rentals:
You must provide proof of valid automobile insurance to cover liability and damage to other vehicles.

We require the purchase of a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) for a nominal cost of $10.50/day that provides up to $50,000 in coverage for the rented vehicle which guarantees no out of pocket costs for you, the renter, in the event of an accident.

At this time, self-insured rentals are required to be booked 48 hours in advance and are unable to be "extended" due to insurance regulations. If you need to begin your rental immediately, are self-insured and would like to book for several days or more, we can book your rental with our insurance for the first two days while your insurance processes for the remainder of your rental period.

Due to current insurance regulations, if a rental extension is requested, the current rental must be closed out and a new rental agreement must be completed.

Rentals Covered by Our Insurance:

Full Collision and Liability Coverage is available from $46.72/day with a $1,000 deductible.

The "Auto Essential" package provides coverage to our vehicle as well as other vehicles and drivers involved in an accident.

Should you be involved in an accident, your maximum out of pocket cost for damages would be $1,000 (deductible).

In certain situations where the terms of the rental agreement are violated, you may be held fully responsible for the cost of any damages not covered by insurance. These situations may include, but not be limited to, unauthorized drivers, unlicensed drivers, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving the vehicle past the rental agreement period, failure to respond to law enforcement, and other unapproved activities not listed here.

Full terms are defined in the rental agreement.
